The Miranda rights are the detained/suspect's current rights during the arrest procedure and the trial. Once the suspect has been detained and is within the Law Enforcement's custody; his/her rights must be read. If the rights aren't being read during the detain/custody, the officers involved may be charged.

1. You have the right to remain silent.
2. Everything you do or say, may and will be used against you in the Court of Law.
3. You have the right to an attorney.
4. If you can not afford one, one will be appointed to you.
5. Do you understand your rights as they've been read to you?
